    Eau Trouble

    by Brecourt

I wanted to orchestrate olfactively all the emotions that a complex and mysterious woman can evoke.

The timeless cologne is created to be more intellectual; it is cloaked by a combination of woods and powdery notes of heliotrope and musks with a background of roots that is superstitiously associated with magical powers (Pallida orris, vetiver). The playful use of raw materials favours the poly-sensorial aspect of this fragrance.

Tea leaves, tangerine, carrot, Orris, violet, cedarwood, heliotrope, musk, tonka bean

A delicate and distinguished skin scent

    1. Eau Trouble. 3 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Oct 2016

Really reminds me of Prada's Infusion d'Iris, but not as strong and with more of a sharp, citrusy note at first. Clean, pleasant and fresh, with a slight powdery undertone, not really anything troubling at all, lol.

    2. Lacking power 4 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Apr 2016

This perfume has all the ingredients I like, however they are subtle and don't shine through like I would expect. Nice but too subtle

    3. I wanted it to be perfect but it was good 4 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Mar 2015

I can't quite put my finger on it but it wasn't quite as assertive and spicy as I would have liked. But, I did really like it... just not quite enough

    4. Woody, warm and delicious 4 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Feb 2015

Eau Trouble is a woodsy, rooty take on iris and heliotrope. It is soft but there are no vintage makeup notes, no ambrette, none of that overly girly stuff. It is more natural and warm smelling. Recommended for lovers of iris and wood notes.

    5. sexy like wearing your boyfriend's shirt 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Jan 2015

I'm kind of new to the world of perfumes, but I became interested in them after an brief encounter with a gentlemen who wore fragrances. I decided I wanted something that would make me smell like a feminine man, just like him. This is it! I could see this becoming my next signature smell.

    6. feminine, understated 4 Star Review

too pretty to be considered unisex

    7. An Exceptional Iris 5 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Dec 2011

Iris is my favorite perfume note and Eau Trouble is full bottle worthy for me. A perfect scent for office or evening out, it is an elegant dry iris with some of the best tenacity I've found in any iris fragrance. Love it!

    8. Better that Prada Infusion d'Iris 5 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Jul 2011

This perfume smells very similar to Prada Infusion d'Iris but without the sharp note (which really comes out on my skin). Lots of iris and powder, this is an elegant scent that easily transitions from the office to a dinner date. It's a winner!
