    Wild Fire

    by Raw Spirit

A dry, woody, sensual scent. Wild Fire is inspired by the intoxicating scent of the Western Australian outback in the intense heat of summer. The dry air tingles as wild fires threaten. A seductive dry, woody scent that blends premium wild-harvested Australian sandalwood with creamy amber and floral notes.

NOTES: Australian sandalwood, amber, ylang ylang, jasmine petals, cedwarwood, musk

    1. Sandal/Ambery/Wood 4 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Feb 2017

Right on initial spray, I got a bubble of amber. Immediately that melted into the rising Australian Sandalwood. If you're familiar with both these notes, then it would be safe to say you would know them here, for they are widely used in niche perfumes. The sandalwood starts to take the main stage. The initial amber stage starts to mix with the sandalwood and smooths the rough edges of it. I didn't notice the floral aspect too much...it may have helped to enhance the smooth, slightly creamy stage that provided a very nice balance to the sandalwood. I also didn't notice much smoke until the very end, where some of the cedar presented itself. I did get decent longevity from Wild Fire. I also noticed it on my sleeves the next day, which was a pleasant plus. A very nice sandalwood you should sample.

The cedar and sandalwood in this are wonderful - very rich, woody and creamy without being powdery. The amber adds a nice warmth. There is a smokiness in the drydown that smells like woodsmoke, and I wish it weren't there at all, but I still love the warm woods of this blend.
