Steampunk EDT is based on the zeitgeist known as Steampunk. Steampunk is inspired by the Victorian era (1840 - 1900), a period marked by the advent of industrialization and of technical innovation, a time of of gallant men and corseted ladies and of great minds like that of Jules Verne and his 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. This is Steampunk EDT: the steel hull, the wonderful machines, and the dreams of undiscovered lands. Steampunk is also a bit old-fashioned; there's the powder of the wig, the aftershave of an elegant gentlemen, the expensive perfume of a chic woman, the coolness of the sea, along with a hint of exotic woods and tropical flowers. Part wanderlust, part desire, and part imagination, Steampunk plays with the fragrance categories of fougere and chypre.

NOTES: Lime, violet, cashmere, ylang ylang, iris, jasmine, sweets, mace, atlas cedar, vanilla, patchouli, musk, amber, powder

    1. Steampunk 1 Star Review

Posted by on 11th Aug 2016

This doesn't conjure up images of anything Steampunk to me, but whatever, lol. It's buttery, cloying violets, a swampy greenery, and a heavy undertone that smells like dirty skin to me, and I'm not sure what's giving off that impression (something weird happening with the muska nd powder?). Interesting, but not ultimately wearable for me.
