This is a very subtle scent, it is mellow, not loud, does not have any sharp notes. It is warm and comforting, perfect for the introvert who wants to smell good but does not want to draw attention. The rose and sandalwood top note it warmly pleasant and dry and becomes sweeter note. A very calming scent great as a bed fragrance.

A very nice floral, rosy but not overtly a rose. The juniper note lends a touch of pepper and of astringency that keeps this from becoming jammy or syrupy in a cloying way.

A dry, dark rose. Smells like dried, red rose petals and sandalwood incense that's very creamy, warm, woody, and just a touch smoky. I catch hints of earthy, sweet patchouli and juniper every once in a while, but it's mostly dried roses and sandalwood incense.

Rosenthal is a rose perfume with attitude. I think if you enjoy a dark bohemian take on rose (as opposed to the fresh dewy) you should sample this for sure. For some reason the patchouli, incense and angelica take a peppery turn on my skin but that's just my epidermis, the reviewer at Cafleurbon experienced it as velvety soft... so what are you waiting for?
