A classic chypre fragrance. So many of the great chypres have disappeared, and are too expensive or complex for today’s tastes. They’ve been described as ‘too dirty’ for the US market (surely a good thing?). Here’s one inspired by the Paris masters, with a rich heart, a fruity top and a soul of pure oakmoss.
Notes: Peach, grapefruit, basil, rose, cedarwood, orange blossom, rosewood, honey, oakmoss, hay, musk, labdanum

Kind of a light, watery, clean peach scent. Like an unripe peach floating in rosewater, with drops of citrus oil dispersing through the water. I like the opening more than the drydown, even though it's a bit too clean for my tastes. The dry, papery, dirty oakmoss and honey musk come in through the drydown and don't play very well with the fruit and floral notes on my skin. It winds up smelling very jumbled on my skin.

This is a complex, peachy chypre, one of the best peach note I've come across. I expected hay, but got a beautifully blended oakmoss. A FB for me in the near future.
