Gaea is inspired by the Goddess Mother Earth, Gaea (AKA Gaia). It blends notes of earthy soil, green leaves and woods. Gaea pays homage to the harmony and balance of Mother Earth, our present home. The scent opens with herbal wormwood and a green-leaf accord, taking one to the edge of a forest. As it develops, the herbal and green aspects fade into soft, delicate florals of tuberose and orris. The Moroccan orris provides an almost Rooibos tea-like quality, and the honey accord blends evenly with the soft florals, creating a delicate, sweet, floral heart. As it dries into the base, the wearer is left with a comforting, musky, ambergris-and-honey combination, with subtle nuances of patchouli and earth, reminding one of the forest where the journey first began.
NOTES: Green leaves, dry earth, honey, tuberose, rose, lavender, orris butter, apple, cedarwood, wormwood, patchouli, ambergris

This is a masterpiece, incredibly nuanced. I actually moaned "woowww" when I sniffed it on my skin for the first time.I'm sure it's not a compliment magnet, and it could certainly be considered challenging to wear( it smells like the sort of soil that must possess magical powers ). I'm working on a sample, but immediately wanted a bottle just for it's amazing uniqueness. I tend to favor orientals and gourmands, FWIW.

Gaea is a quick trip to the floor of a tropical forest. It's an earthy green, with a bit of honey.
In tone it is reminiscent of Zooligist's Bat. Both are interesting, if not what I'd want to wear as a perfume.
P.S. Gave it 3 stars, although it is far from average, because we can't write a review without a rating, it would seem.
