Dusk settles over the regal city, who seeks calm after a lightnin flash of passion. Unexpected merging of mystic and mundane in joyful harmony. The orange grove tang of blossom and citrus, the whisper of cool fountain spray. Hidden depths come to the fore.
Perfumer Maurizio Cerizza skillfully extracts apparently contrasting, strong yet gentle emotions from rare ingredients, blended with perfect balance and pace, achieving an overlapping sequence of exciting yet comforting sensations. Incense the bearer of sacred and arcane, patchouli sensuality itself, elemi oil to restore reality, soothed by a veil of vetiver. Rome casts its glow on an autumn evening, as only as a joyful, peaceful sanctuary is able.
Bergamot, mandarin, elemi, orris, rhum, olibanum, cedarwood, vetiver, patchouli
Mysterious, sensual floral-woody scents

There were a few friends at the house when this arrived. Needless to say, we all tried it. What an amazing difference in the scent on the skin. I loved the spice and powder open, someone else perceived an aquatic note, no one got a bergamot or mandarin scent, but a salt scent was smelled. So... mysterious it is. It has good sillage, I still got the faint powdery scent this morning. J

To best explain, in no more practical senses. This smells of lightly mandarin scented baby powder. The weakest mandarin note you could ask for. However I am going to suggest that it is exactly what it offers. Perhaps I'm only letdown due to the expectancy of something different. Again, the name is very true to the olfactory nature of this fragrance.

I purchased some Indiescent samples recently and randomly grabbed this from the small package of them today. 2 sprays from the 1 ml vial and I am sold. I have dozens of fragrances. I especially like Cartier Pasha, Santos Concentree, and Tom Ford Extreme in the Fall - and though this smells deliciously different from those, like those it is something that I could wear comfortably all day. It is classical, sexy and warm. It seems to have excellent silliage, but is not overwhelming. I can imagine wearing it in both formal and informal settings and in all seasons - though in lighter amounts in the warmer seasons. I will buy a bottle.

To my disappointment this was all hairspray 60's style on my skin. I still rate this average as this will develop better on different skins than mine. I did not get any florals or else.
