Fog caked needle, lichen, fern and moss perfume the nocturnal air beneath grandiose canopies of fir and hemlock - a headspace captured in perfect equilibrium. Containing not one single essential oil nor synthetic, Norne is luxuriously composed entirely with 100% pure forest absolutes; a connoisseur grade fantasy/surrealist recipe of incensed coniferous woodsy resins inspired by the catharsis of self worship.

This is a lovely one for people not into harsher piney things.
The first time that I wore it was when weeding in a shady place amongst the mosses in the garden and it was a lovely accompaniment.
Dark green and resinous (Extrait version).

Eerie, dark, spacial, vibrant with the darkest sap of a blackish/green primeval conifer forest. It lasts and lasts as it's nothing but base notes. Evocative and sensual. Even though it might be seen as a masculine, I and other women I know love wearing it.

This perfume is not for the faint of heart, there is nothing floral or girly about it. Definitly for a strong woman. The heady conifer aroma carried the scent of the forest all-day long, by far one of the finest perfumes I've encountered.

This smells fantastic - it's a great unisex cologne but would be better on a guy, I think.

It is a wintery cold and dark night, it is snowing outside. The fireplace barely can contain its blazing fire and some of the smoke from the fir and cedar logs escapes away and fills the room. The only light in the room is from the fire. Me and my wife sitting in the rug in front of the fire while drinking some eggnog and nibbling on pepparkakor cookies.
That is what this perfume is all about, strong coniferous/inciense/spices accord that is out of this world. It could become a signature scent if not for the fact that lacks versatility. You can not take to the office, or to a romantic dinner, or anywhere at all, but it is precious nevertheless.
The darkest perfume I've seen in a while, very romantic and soothing at the same time. It makes me relax and slow down. This is not just a perfume, this is a way of life.

Dark,Moody, could be a little challenging to wear, another post said blacklites, headshopish, and that REALLY sums it up ! I prefer Rume to this one for wearability! Sephora lovers stay away from this one:)

I have been searching for this all my life. The smell of the basement head shop where I bought peacock feather earrings and looked at black light posters of mushrooms and tried on a very used salvation army jacket. The Incense smell permeated everything and make me gladd to be young an alive (or maybe it was that joint we smoked in car LOL)Anyhow it reminds me of the best time of my life and keeps me humming Inna Gadda de Vida baby...
