Mrs. Gloss & The Goss (Lemon Sherbet)

    by 4160Tuesdays

Mrs. Gloss & The Goss is a quintessentially summer fragrance, reminiscent of a jug of frosty, sweetened lemonade. It comes with a lemon top note, accompanied by other citrus fruits bursting out of the bottle. The initial explosion of crisp citrus is followed by a sweet vanilla with soft musks and refreshing bergamot. The overall effect is one of sophistication, but with a lovely, reassuring reminder of childhood treats.

NOTES: Lemon, citrus, vanilla, soft musk

    1. Love...childhood memories 5 Star Review

This is a beautiful scent very sweet and reminds me of hot summer days and drinking lemonade. It has a refreshing and tart smell while being sweet and fun. It is a sherbet smell so expect the sweetness to come out. I enjoy it and would love to get another bottle but cannot find anymore so hopefully Indie Scents restocks soon!!

this one is very cut and dry on me - vanilla and lemon. 4160 Tuesday's just seems to work for me with the fun names and how they wear. If you like lemon and you like vanilla, it's definitely worth a shot to test out

    3. Gets better as it dries down but I'm not in love 3 Star Review

Something about the vanilla screams incredibly cheap, dime-store vanilla perfume ingredients of years gone by. I'm not a huge fan of this house as it is, but I can't really describe this properly. Last try: It's smells like cream soda you spilled on your clothes in large amounts and left it to dry out for days and days. It gets better as it dries down, but I'm not in love. There is something in there that I want to like, but I have smelled better lemon-crème perfumes before.
