    Doe In The Snow

    by 4160Tuesdays

Doe in the Snow is a light, fresh, peach sorbet with flowers and woods.  A delicate  and luminescent chypre, it's the perfect fragrance for those who love to smell divine, but don't want to overpower. Made for a special occasion that took place in January, for a very special customer.  It's inspired by the fruity chypre fragrances of the 1960s and 70s, but with a layer of frost and a cool icicle sensation.  Imagine a tall, elegant woman, dressed in red and white velvet, but at ground level, she's wearing her wellington boots so her feet don't get cold and wet.  Graceful, yet practical...... Expect to smell peach and yuzu sorbets, rose, jasmine, leather, oak wood and moss, plus a hint of chocolate!

    1. Doe in the Snow. 3 Star Review

Posted by on 13th Oct 2016

Bright, fizzy, lemony smelling citrus with an icy, cool, almost minty-ozone note that surprisingly doesn't turn soapy on me. Dries down completely different, turning into a dry, warm wood and sweet resin scent with a hint of floral scented soap and waxy chocolate. Somewhat strange. I enjoy the opening more than the drydown.

    2. Pastel peach chypre 4 Star Review

It's a delightful and modern fruity chypre, peaches and cream with a bitter astringent green tea base, sort of like a great expensive soap.
